What to Expect

   
     The purpose of this blog is to shed light on news stories that were not featured as prominently as they should have been. The reasons that a story may escape the attention of the mainstream public are many. Possibly Justin Bieber released a new album the same week as a terrorist bombed a market in Iraq. Or perhaps a story simply bled in a manner that was particularly erotic to the public during the same day as a health report came out on the status of obesity in North America.

     For every news story that catches your eye there are thousands that do not. That is the purpose of this blog. I aim to make you aware of the things you would otherwise be ignorant of. It is my sincerest hope that the awareness that is made possible through this blog may contribute to a renewed sense of purpose within you. With this purpose burning inside of you it is my desire that you begin to find news from around the world that needs your attention.


     There are people all around the world who suffer because they have not been granted the same liberties that you have. They are denied the simple decencies that we selfishly waste. This is not an accusation against you. It is simply a call to awareness. By opening your eyes to what is not reported on around the world you are empowered with knowledge. By using that knowledge to create change and inspire others and you may yet move mountains.
